Coping with fibromyalgia upper back pain

One of the most common symptoms of fibromyalgia is upper back pain. Essentially, there are four things that you need to focus on in order to eliminate upper back pain. In fact, you can even apply these four to any area of your body that is hurting, wherever it is applicable.
The first one is heat therapy. Applying heat to the site of the pain, usually through a hot compress, will help your muscles relax and thereby ease the pain.
Another thing that you should do is to exercise daily. I don’t think there are any bad effects that proper exercise can do. It can strengthen your muscles a great deal, even if you just do it for 30 minutes everyday. Proper back support and posture is also essential.
Finally, you can try alternative treatments such as acupuncture, massage, and chiropractic care. However, you need to consult your physician first to know which therapy is best for you.
At least you have one less body pain to think about.
