I am experiencing excessive swelling on my entire rib cage, front and back, the back of my neck and also a large mass on my medial sternum bone on my chest. Are these normal swelling areas for fibromyalgia?? Doctor says rib cage swelling is objectionable?

Myxedema is the name for

Myxedema is the name for swellign that some people experience. The most common swelling in patients with fibro is on the extremitiess, though many report the entire legs and arms. Aching in the neck and shoulders is also common. However, I could not find any research that showed a link between fibro and thoracic swelling. I would get some additonal tests to determine the cause of the swellign and the mass.
